Being that we're almost upon Halloween & I'm feeling festive I thought I'd dress up my desktop for the occasion.

Very red indeed.
This made me think about why bright red on dark everywhere makes me so uneasy (whereas with a ~60-70% green tone and as much as ~80-90% blue it's not a problem).
And I think it's because my monitor is big enough for me to see part of my desktop with my peripheral vision. If everything in my vision, including peripheral is alarmingly red I just want to cringe on the floor.
