You simply load it as a plugin and in the future, if a style happens to include a 3dcc configuration (see my styles as an example, at the end of the file), then along with the other elements windows' decorations change as well according to the 3dcc syntax...

That's a 3dcc configuration file which goes to the end of a style file and tells bbcolor3dc to apply those hues. If you want to create your own configuration files, download Jasmin's 3dcc from http://dl.dropbox.co...25/3dcc4-en.zip

You have to pick a windows' element (say, the 3d Face) and click on it. Then, using the camera symbol (Capture) move your cursor around your desktop until you find a color you like. Click on it and, there, 3d Face changes color. Continue with the rest of the elements until your windows acquire the hues you like. Save the end result e.g. Jonny1. Open Jonny1.3dc with a text editor like Notepad and copy the numbers. Paste them at the end of your style file and reload Blackbox. Read the Help Topics, they will guide you along...

What do you mean? Post a screenshot, please. Remember that you need to have the Classic Windows theme for 3dcc to work well. No aero stuff :)

I have the same issue. 3DCC works just fine in Virtual Machines, but not on a real installation. It just stays as a dead process.

3DCC can be a little quirky. Here on Win7 64, sometimes it won't launch after running it until I right click in a blank area in Windows file browser (from where I ran js3dcc.exe). It seems that getting the right-click menu to appear from within Windows Explorer is sometimes necessary, maybe due to some Windows API that's different these days. I don't have this issue when I launch 3DCC from a link in my bbLean menu.

You really shouldn't need to install the editor. I'm guessing whatever style you're using didn't include the 3dcc in its style file and instead has a separate file. If what you posted is the 3dcc for your style just open your style file in notepad or your text editor of choice and append this to the end

Spoiler

I apologize if that's not correct but that's how I recall it working.

Also if you're running a 64bit OS that may make things funky as well.

At the top, it should be ! -- start 3dcc --

Otherwise, it may not work...
