I know, we didn't need it in old Windows XP times, but since there is Windows 7, I'm missing this feature in BlackBox.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a plugin for that yet.

I know this isn't a part of blackbox, but until something like that is made this is pretty useful! Everything

There is no plugin for search, but you can always create a bbi button, within a start toolbar or not, and link it to a third party app like UltraFileSearch... As we all know, 7's search feature is next to useless, since it's a hurdle to find paths and attributes, let alone fine tune a specific search...

Not in my opinion.

What I want, is finding some system tools and start menu entries, not more.

Sure, I could use an external search too, and I probably will do that, but for example, a quick [Start] → 'devi' → [device manager]  is very handy. Especially when your language is not English and the shown app names are completely different from the actual file name (e.g. "Gerätemanager" vs. "devmgmt.msc")
