My problem with this is that it will alter how we are seen,,,,,
Anyway, thanks for elaborating on your perspective, scruffty. However, that's strange to my ears (eyes? whatever). As someone who is not as involved in this kind of thing as some of the good folks here, I can say -- from my perspective at least -- it doesn't affect my perception of software at all, whether the developers accept donations or not. I only care if it's good. And I might represent the kind of person that this project hopes to lure in, if the objective is to gain more users: people who may not be hardcore power users, but who would enjoy some option(s) to customize the standard Windows layout.
