Hello all,

I'm just wondering if there's a way to increase the height of windows' title bars without the title bar encroaching upon the contents of the window itself. Is this possible?

Try launching bbstylemaker.exe and changing window font size (select "window f" as on the screenshot and change the "height" value).

You can also adjust margins on the window title and label.

I tried both but all that happened was that my title bar started overlapping the window. Am I doing something wrong?

Try using smaller numbers for marginwidth. By trial and error you'll get there.

I now have a larger font size for my title but the actual title bar remains the same size. My window.title.marginWidth is set to -15, and my window.fontHeight is equal to 60. Am I doing anything wrong?

Your margin width should be on the plus, not the minus side. Anything from 4 to 8 should do the trick. Fontheight should be anything from 16 to 22 max.

I use a high-DPI laptop so I have to compensate by over-inflating font sizes. I still haven't been able to increase the margin, though, without the title bar overlapping the other contents of the window.

Can you please post a screenshot and your style file?

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Here's a screenshot of my desktop (warning, high-resolution image):

OK, first of all you have a window focus margin width of 40, which is HUGE and overrides any margin width value.

window.title.focus.borderWidth: 40

Start going down to, say, 10 and let me know how it went.
