I replied in shoutbox that I was getting a 404 file not found message when I tried to use the link, but it seems you didn't read my reply
Anyway, open extensions.rc in the Blackbox folder with an editor like Notepad and look for the line
blackbox.menu.IconSize: 16 (may be some other number)
Replace 16 with 0 and that's it

Spoiler
Weird... OK, let's try something else. Open menu.rc and add an exclamation mark in front any reference to icons, e.g.
ORIGINAL: [submenu] (.CONSOLE.) <c:iconsbasicgear.ico> <c:iconsbasicmenu 2.ico>
EDITED: [submenu] (.CONSOLE.) ! <c:iconsbasicgear.ico> <c:iconsbasicmenu 2.ico>

Why shouldn't it? The configuration looks for a number and acts accordingly

uhm i dont got any reference to an .ico?

unfortunately in bbMean there is no code looking for that number or reacting upon it.
for me it was never an issue, actually i put a great deal of effort in, just so i could build it with icons enabled

diabol pointed out icons were always enabled in old builds, I forgot you are using an old one. I suggest you should try one of the new 64-bit builds by mojmir or diabol.

Icons enabled is fine, but the user must have the option to shut them off, if they so desire, or change their size. One of the reasons I am using XZero450's build.

Agreed
It's good to have a place for feedback
