I just installed bbZero on Windows 8.1
Everything works fine but the title bar is flickering nonstop on Firefox and Chromium
Is there anyway to fix it?

The easiest fix is disabling the skinning on those windows specifically, you would add those programs them to the exceptions.rc. I haven't been informed of another way to stop the flickering with the exception of disabling skinning on those windows!

I hope this helps you!

Some apps don't like skinning, almost all browsers are a good example of this. Like gamer64 suggested, disable skinning by adding these apps in your exceptions.rc file which should be in your bbleanskin folder. Add, save, restart the plugin.

I have no issues with skinning both Firefox and Thunderbird. Then again, I'm still on Win7 Pro 64bit.

Try adding the following to exceptions.rc if not already there:

# firefox|mozilla
xul.dll:MozillaHiddenWindowClass
# thunderbird
thunderbird.exe:MozillaHiddenWindowClass
# Snarl
firefox.exe:SnarlXPCOMClass
MSVBVM60.DLL:ThunderRT6FormDC

Here's my full exceptions.rc just for good measure:

# ---------------------------------------
# exclusions.rc - for bbLeanSkinEng.dll

# Format: program:classname
#   program               excludes all windows from 'program'
#   program:classname     excludes only that window from 'program'
#   *:classname           excludes all windows with 'classname'

# Get the appropriate names from bbleanskin's log-window.
# See README.TXT for further information.

# supported wildcards are ? and *
# h?llo = hallo, hello
# h*o   = hallo, hejo, ho
