Somehow BBIconBox (with just tray icons enabled) seems to be limiting overall GPU usage when auto-hid. When I hover over it my FPS i WoW nearly doubles.

If I disable auto-hide and use clickraise instead i see no difference whether BBIconBox overlays the game or not.

bbIconBox.id.count: 1
bbIconBox.id.1: Tray

bbIconBox.Tray.AutoHide: false
bbIconBox.Tray.clickRaise: true
bbIconBox.Tray.snapWindow: true

First time I hear of it.

I'd suggest using a BBInterface script instead of IconBox.

Doesn't seem to be limited to BBIconBox, BlackBoxBar has the same issue with auto-hide. Moving BBAnalogExMod (after toggling transparency on and off) onto my main monitor (over WoW) reduces FPS from 110+ to ~70.

My assumption is that WoW doesn't do well with any sort of transparent window overlayed its window. This isn't an issue with more "modern" games like Dirt Rally 2 and Two Point Hospital.

Is there some way to have dynamic width, auto-hidden tray that doesn't use transparency for the auto-hide?

I have no idea how to scrip BBi.

You are probably right, so perhaps there is no point testing any further.

But if you let me know what was included in your IconBox, I can create a bbi script for you. If you want to try it, remember to include paths.

bbtray doesn't load in bbZero. My guess is that bbtray is x86.

Wrong, loads for me on my 64-bit puter. Most 32-bit plugins load on 64-bit systems. The opposite is impossible. Maybe re-install?

The error:

bbZero_install_1.18.0-rc6_mojmir.exe didn't seem to include bbtray, so I grabbed it from here

Have the same build, but loads for me. Really weird... Can you please try the 32-bit build and see if it works on that one?

This is getting really weird. No issues here...

Maybe try my bbtray?

Attached File  bbtray.zip   7.91KB   2 downloads

And, as a last resort, drop Mojmir's build in favor of Blackbox XZero450's build.
