Yep its the reason I made these actually, I wanted a gradient wall with scanlines but a lot of color combos create banding, I'm used to dealing with banding so I just decided to make my own wall in 16bit rgb with proper dithering and scanlines with more control.
Its also not really using one of the standard gradient presets, I think you would have to create separate gradient styles and layer them with bsetroot (could have sworn that was a thing..) to get the same effect (except you get banding, yay), I can do it quicker in PS anyway.
