Hitman

At first you would think this easy to theme, but it lacks several ideas I want to do, and none of the old and new stylemakers can do it. Yet Pitkon can! I want shadow fonts, and borders around the task buttons, Not sure how to achieve this.

Love it! Shadows and outline text were first implemented in BBLeanMod and ported to BBZero. There are specific style commands for both.

OK, so this mystery BBLeanMod is not very well described - I saw the word "mod" in it, and being a game we see that as modification - so I went looking for a "dll" file. no luck .

Then found the zip file here (dont ask where, I get lost here all the time) that was bbleanmod[xx].zip, downloaded it, and it was pretty much another folder of blackbox stuff, so moved that to my bblean folder and started it up. and poof there were some shadow text etc..

    so two questions
    1. Are those commands we have to manually enter on the style script?

2.and the bbleanmod assume is not a dll? But a new. Exe? I found it in another area here. So I see some of the styles have outlined text, and mine do not, which leads to #1. Also has any one recently released any docs on style tutorial and tricks?

Yes I may be asking som dumb questions that are obvious to you guys who have stuck with it all this time, but for me(returning) and new people, this is all gibber-gabber. So I am taking notes, and getting read to write a pretty big tutorial here (mostly for my sake LOL)

    cheers!

They are not dumb questions :)

    1. Yes. This is an example:

    toolbar.shadowColor: black
    toolbar.outlinecolor:                black
    toolbar.shadowx: 3
    toolbar.shadowy: 2
Shadow determines the color and the position (x, y) of the shadow, outline determines the color of the outline. No thickness for outline, I'm afraid. If you don't want an outline, you simply leave the outline color command out. The example is for the toolbar section, but you can implement it on the other BB elements as well. Still hasn't found its way on BBI, I'm afraid, one of the things Mojmir will fix.
    2. It's an exe. BBLeanMod was created by nocd5 back in 2006 as a BB alternative and it was one of the first builds to use split gradients. You don't have to use it now to have splits, shadows and outlines, they are all implemented in BBZero.

    Agent 47!! Nice work :)
