Yes, this is what you’ve been waiting for, mojmir’s bbzero 1.18 rc4, including the best features from the various Blackbox flavors of the past – split graphics from noccy’s BBClean, outline text from nocd5’s bbleanmod, wave and block style options from unkamunka’s Blackbox for Windows mod, menu grip from xzero450’s bbzero, and lots of plugins. Thanks for the rapid reply. With BBZero as shell my Avast antivirus service seems to start but not the Avastui.exe (which starts ok with explorer as shell). I can get around this by putting a shortcut to Avastui.exe in the startup folder. I guess it is something to do with processing the order of events after log-on.

I am having problems reproducing the crash with SyncBack in both shell modes. Sometimes does it, sometimes not. Does not seem to be caused by any plugins (I only use BBInterface_iTunes and only BBWorkspaceWheel outside of BBInterface). I will watch for this agaian and try to find what is causing the problem (could be something to do with running multiple instances of BBZero in error).

Thanks for your work, Mojmir. I'm running Windows 8 64 bits and bbnote crashes when I open it on a 32 bits install of your builds. It functions perfectly on 64 bits, but I need a 32 bits build because of a plugin I'm using.

I use bbnote everyday as it opens all my .txt files. Do you know what may be causing the problem? Any idea on how to make it run on 32 bits?

If it helps: when I try to open the bbnote.exe from my previous build (which was working) while running a 32 bits build, it crashes too.

edit: i'm having other issues while running 32 bits blackbox on 64 bits system like windows key not bringing up the menu or blackbox crashing when you restart it. i would look over them if i can get bbnote to work, but if i can't I'm afraid i'll have to go back to 64 bits build...

edit2: another issue, and this is for both 32 and 64 bits build. Sometimes I minimize a tab and then I can't bring it back. I click on it, it gets the color of being clicked on, but it doesn't open. To fix this I have to use Alt+Tab, which is really annoying...

all these issues (minus blakcbox crashing on restart) have been present for me on previous builds, by the way.

I am running a screensaver (http://www.rixane.co...creensaver.html) that causes bbZero rc4 (on Windows 8.1) to crash whenever the screensaver is dismissed by clicking the mouse or touching a key. If you need more info, like a log file,let me know. In the meantime, I'll change my screensaver :-) .

Just to check, I run the same Rixane 3D screensaver with bbLean, with no crash.

And there's another thing too, I guess it's an issue with BBLeanSkin.

In styles with a one pixel window border (window.frame.borderWidth: 1) the cursor's window resize controls sometimes don't appear on the sides:

This affects only the window sides, on the handle they work all the time.

tried it and no crash, i have win10. can you try it with no plugins and maybe change styles to see how it behaves?

I just realized too that all the bb-TCL archives don't have sources...

i did not look thoroughly but it seems to me that these are not sources, these are binary builds

Win 8.1 x64 clean instalation, if i replace the bbpager dll with an old one (the one it comes in bbmean 1.17) it works without problem
