Well, sorry if I couldn't search properly, but I think I couldn't find this info in the forum.

I'm actually using bbLean 1.17 from a few months, a few days ago I found that bbLean was still in development, named as bbZero (if I understand it right). So, I wanted to try to update it or mirgate or whatever it is called.

The thing is I have bbLean exactly as I want, so I would like to "copypaste" all my styles to bbZero latest stable build, which is XZero's build if I'm not wrong.

Is there a quick way of doing it, like merging *.rc's files or something like that?

PD: is bbSkin still having issues with windows in bbZero?

Thanks in forwards.

No easy way to do it, I'm afraid. Besides, bbzero is years ahead of bblean 1.17 and all rcs include stuff you should check before porting your stuff.

What do you mean by bbleanskin issues on Windows?

Well, I'm talking about skin issues. Firefox not working properly with it  (I mean, in appearance). And not from bblean skin, but bblean toolbar won't hide an icon systray if it appears suddenly (like, for example, if you start some torrent clients, or dropbox)

Should I take old and new .rc files and copypaste only the stuff I want? reading line by line I mean.

If you exclude Firefox from skinning and disable Aero/Metro, then you should have no skin issues.

And, yes, the best way to do it is go line by line.

You are very welcome. There is a number of browsers that can be skinned flawlessly, but I guess you'll be missing Firefox goodies :)

Well, I tried Cyberfox but in the end, besides being THE SAME as firefox without improvements, it consumed more than expected so I went back to firefox.

Just use Classic Theme Restorer to move the tabs down etc.

So, I got this build -> http://blackbox4wind...uild-by-dblake/ because I had 1.17 and I saw that was one 64bit 1.18. I didn't know if I choose good or bad, but at least I could replicate my previous skin.

So, what improvements has this version over my previous one? did I download (and configured it again for a long time) wrong?

Edit: Also, I'm searching the separator colors in the menu along with the width, and I can't find them. Neither stylemaker, neither editing style with notepad++. Where are they?

Edit2: menu.rc is not saving 2 changes I usually change. The menu subspacing and the bullets visibility. Why it is happenning?

It's not a latest build. Try BBZero 1.17, includes more goodies.

All Blackbox builds are in our Downloads section, bottom of the front page. BBZero is here http://blackbox4wind...-mojmirs-build/

Ok, thanks. I know where they are what I don't know is what it is each one. Sorry for made you search. This night will replicate my fav setup (for third time) Is there some issues there's know with this build?

Edit: I got again my old setup with a few improvements. I only have a question about bbCalendar config. Is so unconfy even with notepad++ How can I edit bbCalendar.rc in a good way that I can in fact apply quick the changes? Also, can I in extensions.rc trigger bbCalendar with a double click on clock? Thanks

BBCalendar offers a full set of options via its interface or its rc file. Not sure what issues you have with it.

BBCalendar can be called up using a bbinterface frame set. Do you know how to do that?

Well, it only applies changes if I change them, saved them and then reload then. Is not like BBbar that I can reset it to see the changes through keyboard or menu what applies instantly.

Also, I don't how it can be done with bbinterface. There's another way besides Menu > Load/Unload Plugins > etc. . . ?

BBInterface is the most unique of all Blackbox plugins. Make sure it's included in your package, load it and let me know.

Seems like I only have bbInterface_iTunes. I guess I should search on forum and add the plugin, right?

No, the one you have is the right one. bbi_iTunes it is. Will you load it, please? Tell me what you see.

Well, I can see a plugin to make another "plugins". Seems very hard to just make another calendar, but, how it works?

ΟΚ, I guess you now see a welcoming frame which is the main BBI element. This is a frame.

1) On this frame, Ctrl+Right Click. A menu pops up. Go Interface Operations/Create New Control/SwithButton. A new element, a switchbutton, is created. This one will click the bbcalendar frame on and off.

Adjust the size to whatever by grabbing the edge of the switch button, pressing Alt and dragging. Move the switch button to wherever by Ctrl+Left Clickin on it and dragging.

Let's  give a name to the switch button, let’s say BBCalendar. Ctrl+Right Click on it and go Control Options/Control Name. Change switchbutton to BBCalendar. Ctrl+Right Click and go Configuration/Save Configuration. It's something you must do after every step, so you won't lose what you have done so far.

Here, you can a) add an icon to the button,  b ) add a caption to the button or c) do both. You can also choose which style you prefer for that button from the ones inherent to the specific style you are using.

a) Adding an icon:  Ctrl+Right click on the BBCalendar sb and go Control Options/Image. Choose between Bitmap (jpg, png, bmp) or Icon (ico). Go where the image is and open it. If you want to change the image's size or position, use Control Options/Image/Options/Scale and Control Options/Image/Options/Image Alignment.

(b Adding a caption: Ctrl+Right click on the BBCalendar sb and go Control Options/Caption/Static Text. Type Web (or whatever). You can change the position of the text (Control Options/Text Settings), the font (Window Options/Use Custom Font) or the size (Window Options/Font Size). You can also use a bold font (Window Options/Font Bold)

c) Do both the above.

Choosing a style: Ctrl+right click and go Window Options/Style. Choose a style.

Now you have the switch button that will control the BBCalendar plugin which will be hosted on the original frame (the welcoming frame, the one you saw when you loaded bbi). No need to create another frame and leave the original as trash.

2) Ctri+Right click on the Frame. Repeat some of the above steps to resize and move it, add an image (although it may be covered by the buttons we are going to add), name it BBCalendar Frame, and choose a style.

Ctrl+Right click on the BBCalendar Frame and go Control Options/Plugins/Load Plugin. Go to the folder where bbcalendar lies and load it.

You can change icons, captions etc. following the steps in 1).

OK, so we now have a BBCalendar switch button and a BBCalendar frame. The last step is to make the switch button control the frame, by switching it on and off.

3) Ctri+Right click on the BBCalendar sb. Go Control Options/Pressed/Blackbox Bro@m. Type this:

@BBInterface Control SetAgent Web Pressed Bro@m "@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty BBCalendar Frame IsVisible true" This will make the BBCalendar Frame appear.

Then go Control Options/Unpressed/Blackbox Bro@m. Type this:

@BBInterface Control SetAgent Web Unpressed Bro@m "@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty BBCalendar Frame IsVisible false" This will make the BBCalendar Frame disappear.

That's it! Now, every time you click on the BBCalendar sb BBCalendar Frame appears and if you click again it disappears.
