mojmir had been real busy all those months, folks.

He is working on a major Blackbox rehaul that will bring BB to the Windows 10 century.

We all have our reservations about Blackbox and Win 10, since for some users the new Microsoft OS doesn't seem to like alternative shells, but mojmir hopes all our woes will be over when he finishes with that monster of an endeavor.

The changes may be dramatic at some points, some old plugins may not work at all, but the new shell will be super fast, extra stable and just unbeatable.

There is no ETA yet, but good things take some time. Our best and our support go to you, mojmir, may the god of shells bless you.

Can't wait to see blackbox 4 windows with the bash shell. I hate x servers.

Windows 10 bash shell/ubuntu subsystem still needs an X server.

Now if only there was a seemless X server for windows with transparency and what-not.

Looking forward to getting BB on my windows 10 computer at home.

This has seriously made my year, the giddiness inside of me cannot be controlled.

(not to forsake the other good things of the year, but at least for computers sake this ranks high up there)

Hopefully Mojmir keeps in mind some of my different config tweaks and suggested idea's. It actually feels like my bbZero build runs better than the default windows shell explorer. I don't think think it's my imagination it feels like windows loads quicker. I just thought of one thing I'd like is there a way to also make SystemBarEx unhide when you hit the windows key to bring up the windows menu? I think that's the way it behaves in windows itself which is convenient since it's a easy way to check the time & date if your using auto hide.

No imagination, Windows does load and run quicker.

Does bb currently work in windows 10 at all? I was hoping to install win 10 tomorrow and begin using bb for the first time.

Works pretty well it does sometimes crash though I noticed, but if you pair it with process lasso you can set it up so it will auto restart if it does crash which is rather handy plus process lasso does a lot of other nice stuff so is worth using regardless.
