Tried launching them from the Start Menu "startup"-folder?

Hello
i cant quite figure this out I've tried modifying the string in my startup registry entries to launch these programs at start-up.
these programs will launch at startup just fine when i switch back to windows 8.1 native shell, but when i boot into blackbox shell (latest release by Mojmir) these programs dont show up as launched on my blackbox tray icon indicators (using BBiconbox.dll's tray function).
the programs i am having issues with:
Avast Free AntiVirus (launches the actual security bit, but not the user interface, which mean i cannot do scans on demand)
AMD Catalyst Control Center (for my graphics preferences)
to be clear..These programs launch just fine after launch but do not load as startup programs as i would like them to.
Any assistance on this issue would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!
Thanks Very Much,
Branden.

Hi, I have the same issue with my AV program and with my mouse drivers. They load fine when explorer is the shell, but when I make BB the shell, they won't load. AV does load but I lack the icon in the tray, but my mouse drivers don't load at all.
Now I think I know what the problem is, but I want you guys to let me know what you think.
If you check out the installation screen of bsetshell, you will notice that you can only set BB as shell for "this user individually".
Now it's my thought that my mouse drivers and my AV program are installed for "everybody who uses my computer".
So maybe something goes wrong inside Windows 10 loading the programs which do not work as you set BB as shell for the current user. I assume the following key is set to load blackbox.exe:
HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell
Now my question is: Has anyone tried installing BB as shell by modifying the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key manually?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell and if you did? Does that work? I remember way back in the 90's that worked, but I'm a bit reluctant to try it on Windows 10.

It SHOULD work. Always back up, of course. And maybe you should try first ShellOn V2 as shell switcher/manager? You may not have to tackle the registry.
