Hello, I am using bbzero as alternative shell for Windows 8.1 - 64 bits.

I don´t need all the parts of the BlackboxBar, only need the tray icons that appear on it ( the active tasks appear on another toolbar on right or left which is another plugin uploaded,).

The reason is that I use a rainmeter top bar instead, but the rainmeter bar does not have the tray icons, so my question

is if there is a way to have the tray icons in a separated toolbar which could be customized, say choose the size, can be moved, attached to right or left borders of the screen, and autohide.

I also use rocketdock on bottom, so my idea is to have only the tray icons inside a toolbar with autohide that does not interfere with the rocketdock on bottom - I tried to do this by eliminating all the parts of the BlackboxBar, leaving only the tray and resizing to 20 or 30 % the bar, but the result was having the tray as an horizontal bar which could only be placed top or bottom, and not right or left as a vertical toolbar does - I would like to make it vertical so I can attach it to the right or left. Hope it is clear.

I am trying to create a linux or mac alike theme, with a bar on top and a dock on bottom. The top bar is a rainmeter skin, and the dock on bottom is rocketdock. So, is it possible to separate the tray from the BlackboxBar and put it in a vertical or al least square toolbar?

I will be grateful for any help.

Thanks for your help, I finally fixed the problem myself using the plugin bbslit, which can create a new tray, and then eliminated the BlackboxBar plugin.

Thanks for your help, I finally fixed the problem myself using the plugin bbslit, which can create a new tray, and then eliminated the BlackboxBar plugin.

Just for clarity:

-BBslit is a container of other plugins and thus most probably you loaded bbiconbox in bbslit. BBicon box can load without the slit though.

-You can opt out all the items (e.g. tray, clock, task etc) of blackboxbar through the blackboxbar.rc. [there are 2 ways to achieve this i. ctrl+richt click on the bar and go down the menu to settings or ii. you can do it by accessing the installation file (e.g. [C:\...]\bZero\plugins\BlackboxBar)

-You can create your own dock with the help of BBiconbox (ctrl+right click on bbiconbox>new>link [point out to a folder where you added your favorite shortcuts to softwares or links). Though you won't get funky effects like zoom or bounce it is nifty. If you'd like some additional function you can then use the slit as a container and load other bbiconbox elements like tray and task. If you also need a clock you can add bbdigitalex to the slit.

-Another way of creating your own dock would be bbinterface which can act as container of your plugins but with a much more "drawing" capacity like the use of bitmaps or .png (see pitkon themes and screenshot in the galleries, he is the only person I know that has fully used bbinterface to its extent by creating very complicated set ups that can rival both Rainmeter and rocketdock)

Hope this help if not enlighten you in achieving your desired effects.
