Hi. After a crash, starting BB causes all startup programs to start again. Any workarounds?

This is normal. Otherwise, you'd be left without startup programs.

Then I guess we've found one way that Explorer is superior to BB...

I am pretty sure it didn't use to do this. Using the app RestartOnCrash I used to never notice BB crashing (everything's auto-hidden), now I end up having to go through and terminate all the duplicate processes when BB crashes. It's often quicker to just re-log.

Simple, just start Blackbox like this:

blackbox.exe -nostartup

At least that's how it's done on bbLean 1.16.

This way, he'd be left with no startup items. I think he wants them - he just doesn't want them duplicated on restart.

Well, he can use -nostartup to manually launch the second instance after the first has crashed :)
