I am fairly new to bblean and i have gotten everything to where i like it except for my wallpaper, i have tried everything i can think of / find on the internet i have tried going through bbstyle maker and also bb>config>grpahics but nothing seems to work the only time the wallpaper works is when i am running it uninstalled but as soon as i install it as the default shell it is just a black screen, i appreciate any and all help

There was another member with the same problem. Wish I could remember the link... Look around Blackbox Help, you may come across it.

Note: i know this thread is old but ill add the solution anyway.

 

open you main style rc. if you dont know where it is then from the menu select BlackBox>Edit>Current Style

 

you should see a like of code like this 

!-- background --rootCommand: 

yours may have extra stuff in it but it should be like this to get the wallpaper to work.

!-- background --rootCommand: bsetbg -f "LOCATION OF YOUR IMAGE"

when yoru done editing just go back to the menu. Blackbox>Reconfigure

 

And your done! When you wanna switch wallpapers just edit the location again and reconfigure.
