Hi Everyone,

 

This are the folder icons for windows OS, Steps to how to set this folder icon on your folder.

 

1) Download icon and go to this website http://iconverticons.com/ and click on use iconvert icons online upload icon. It will convert your icon according to os specification and download it on your computer.

 

2)Now choose folder, right click on that properties>customize>change icon, it will open pop up box in that click on Browse and select you folder icon name file is .ico select it and apply and ok

uhm, that link is a malformed link to a local hard-drive, soooo nobody except you can access it and as it is, it doesn't work for you either.

 

how about instead you forego all that hassle and upload the icons as multi-sized .ico files?

the gimp (and photoshop probably) supports exporting multi-layer images to .ico files - you just have to have layers of 16x16, 32x32, 64x64 and 128x128 pixels

 

it's not that hard and makes icons much more portable
